7 Years of Baton Rouge 2 Bedroom Attached Condo and Townhome Sales 04/2009 to 04/2016. General trend line shows a correction or downward slant from stronger or higher prices in 2009 after Hurricane Katrina. 2011 and November 2014 were lowest points of sales prices. These represent median sales prices, which generally removes outliers – the ultra low of say $50,000 sales and ultra highs of say $900,000 range.
With a continued lower supply of traditional homes on the market in the hottest zip codes (not all markets have low inventory), Baton Rouge condo and townhouses price could potentially be on the upswing…only time will tell.
