Baton Rouge Real Estate New Homes: Why You Should NOT Drastically Over Improve the quality of your new home above the quality level of the Subdivision You Choose.
Choose the right lot in the right subdivision that will compliment the quality of your home home and raise its value over time.
This is Video Number 2: Don’t Over Improve Your Home For the Subdivision You Choose To Build In. The home in this video had a cost close to $540K, meaning a lot of that cost was for higher quality items and features.
If the average home doesn’t have a $50K home automation system, then don’t add one to your home if you plan on selling with the home at breakeven or at a profit.
Over improving by over $240K in a subdivision where the average home sells for $275K made the subject home automatically upside down, meaning they had more invested in it than it was worth.
